I've just spent Christmas at Mum's house, just aiming to be kind to the rest of the family, and myself, not beating myself about all of the "could haves" that I only thought of later on, and friends I've not caught up with yet.
The new photo_scavenger prompt is "Christmas", so here's Mum's Christmas tree (outstanding: Countdown).
I enjoyed yesterday, with a team lunch at work, and drinks later in the pub; I managed to buy a round before I left to go to a gig. I liked getting to see some friends, even just having brief conversations.

The man who served me with my cappuccino yesterday morning turned out to be a fellow Mo Bro; we started comparing 'taches and talking about trying to trim back stubble, which he agreed was the biggest problem

Last night, we had a powercut; it was annoying because it occurred just after I arrived at taekwon-do, so class got cancelled. It lasted only half an hour, but we had another one during the night, so I woke up to find that I had to reset my bedside clock once again

Yesterday's volunteering went well - there was a lot of having to sweep up the autumn leaves before we could do any planting though; it was a chore, and I did intend to do a run after work, but then saw that colleagues were going to the pub and decided to join them instead, I'll usually choose the pub over a run, its just how I am

Yesterday, I spent a lot of the day at work on learning events; a course on designing towns with women and girls in the morning, and then a photography course in the afternoon. We did a bit of a walk around and put into practise some of the skills we'd discussed, like using the grid option on the phone camera to help keep photos straight; I liked

My three priorities at the moment are: 1. Sort out drafting some new GIS datasets, which I hope to do this morning 2. Attend today's photography course; and 3. Do a 15-mile recce around town for the Stag Walkers.
